New High Dependency Unit established in General Surgery and Orthopedic Departments to enhance patient care and improve surgical treatment standards at Qazi Hussain Ahmad Medical Complex MTI Nowshera.
NOWSHERA: A significant step toward improving healthcare services was taken at Qazi Hussain Ahmad Medical Complex MTI Nowshera with the inauguration of a new High Dependency Unit (HDU) in the General Surgery and Orthopedic Departments.
The facility was formally inaugurated by Board of Governors Chairman Muhammad Ashfaq Khattak during a ceremony attended by members of the Board of Governors, Professor Dr. Hamza Ullah Khan, Hospital Director of Qazi Hussain Ahmad Medical Complex, and Professor Dr. Sardar Suhail Afser, Medical Director of the hospital.
Hospital officials said the newly established HDU is designed to provide enhanced monitoring and specialized care for patients requiring close medical supervision following surgical procedures and orthopedic treatments.
The addition of the High Dependency Unit is expected to strengthen critical patient care services and improve overall surgical outcomes. Healthcare administrators emphasized that the initiative reflects the hospital’s commitment to delivering modern medical facilities and raising the standard of healthcare services in the region.
