New appointments in the Ministry of Information and Broadcasting take immediate effect under official notifications.
The federal government has announced a major administrative reshuffle within the Information Group by issuing transfer and appointment orders for three Grade-20 officers. The Ministry of Information and Broadcasting released separate notifications confirming that the changes are effective immediately and will remain in force until further orders.
Under the new appointments, Raeesa Adil has been named Executive Director General of the Press Information Department (PID) and Principal Information Officer. Previously, she was serving as Executive Director General of the External Publicity Wing.
Mubashir Hassan has been appointed Director General of the Digital Communication Department. Before the latest reshuffle, he was serving as Executive Director General of the Press Information Department while also holding the additional charge of Principal Information Officer.
Muhammad Shehzad has been posted as Director General of the Press Information Department. He previously served as Director General of the Digital Communication Department.
