ISLAMABAD: The Islamabad administration has imposed a ban on the operation of shisha cafes in the federal capital until further orders, according to a notice issued by the district administration.
The directive states that orders have been issued to assistant commissioners across Islamabad regarding the implementation of the restriction.
Under the new instructions, permits or no-objection certificates (NOCs) related to shisha cafes will not be accepted, while previously issued NOCs may also be subject to cancellation.
The administration has further directed officials to prevent the operation of shisha facilities within indoor and outdoor areas of cafes and restaurants.
