Speaking to reporters in Ireland, Trump repeated his position on Iran’s nuclear program and claimed that Tehran had been only about two weeks away from developing a nuclear weapon. He said the United States would continue taking measures to prevent Iran from obtaining nuclear weapons, arguing that the threat posed by the country’s nuclear program could not be ignored.
Threat to the Middle East
Trump said the situation could become extremely serious if Iran succeeded in acquiring nuclear weapons. According to the US president, Israel and other countries in the Middle East could face major risks in such a scenario.
He also claimed that some European cities could face threats from Tehran, underscoring what he described as the broader security implications of Iran’s nuclear activities. His remarks come amid heightened tensions surrounding Iran and its nuclear program.
Saudi pipeline attack
Trump also referred to an attack on an oil pipeline in Saudi Arabia, saying Iran was likely behind the incident.
However, he presented Iran’s alleged involvement as a possibility rather than an established fact, saying the country was probably responsible for the attack.
Trump claims Iran could have attacked US
The US president further claimed that if Iran had not been attacked for another week, Tehran could have launched an attack against the United States.

Trump also addressed Yemen’s Houthi group, saying the Houthis did not want a direct war with the United States.
