Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif pays tribute to security forces after operations in Hangu and North Waziristan leave 10 militants dead and six personnel martyred.
Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif on Friday paid tribute to Pakistan’s security forces for killing 10 militants during successful operations against what the Prime Minister’s Office described as India-backed Fitna al-Khawarij in Hangu and North Waziristan districts of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.
The prime minister also paid tribute to six security personnel who were martyred while fighting the militants and expressed his condolences and sympathy to their families.
In his message, Shehbaz Sharif said the security personnel who sacrificed their lives for the defense, peace and security of the country were heroes of the entire nation.
He said the sacrifices of the martyrs would serve as a guiding example for the nation and that their blood would not go to waste.
The prime minister praised the security forces for their courage and commitment during the operations against the militants in the two districts.
Shehbaz Sharif said operations by security forces and law enforcement agencies would continue with full force to completely eliminate terrorism under the government’s Azm-e-Istehkam initiative.
