Information Minister Attaullah Tarar visited the residence of renowned poet Atif Yasir to offer condolences following the death of the poet’s father, according to a post shared by the minister on X.
In his post, Tarar said he met the bereaved family and offered prayers for the deceased’s forgiveness and eternal peace.
“Losing a father’s protective presence is an irreparable loss,” Tarar wrote, expressing solidarity with Atif Yasir and his family during their time of grief.
The minister also prayed for the deceased to be granted a high place in Jannat-ul-Firdous and for the bereaved family to receive patience and strength to cope with their loss.
Tarar conveyed his condolences directly to the family during his visit, according to his statement.
The post reflected the minister’s message of sympathy and support for the family following the death. He concluded his message with a prayer for the deceased and the family members left behind.
