A teenage groom has shared how he met his wife at a wedding, developed feelings for her and eventually convinced his parents to arrange their marriage at the age of 15.
A young Pakistani couple has attracted widespread attention on social media after their marriage at the age of 15 became a topic of discussion, with the teenage groom sharing details of how their relationship began.
The unusual story recently surfaced online after the boy described how he first met his wife, developed feelings for her and eventually persuaded his parents to arrange their marriage.

Recalling their first encounter, the teenager said he noticed the girl at a wedding, where she was throwing flower petals as the groom made his entrance. He initially believed her actions were intentional and later attempted to approach her.
According to the boy, the girl warned him about her father when he tried to flirt with her. However, when he expressed his intention to marry her, she told him to send his parents to her home to discuss the proposal.
The teenager said he subsequently discussed the matter with his father, who informed him that the girl had a hearing and speech disability. Despite the initial communication challenges, he remained interested in pursuing the relationship.
He revealed that the two had spoken only a few times before their marriage was arranged. Nevertheless, he was extremely excited about the wedding and remembered repeatedly waking up during the night to look at his wedding sherwani and turban.
Sharing details of the wedding, the young groom said he gave his wife a kiss as a wedding gift. He also recalled that understanding her gestures was initially difficult for him, but he gradually learned to communicate with her through signs.
His account has generated considerable interest among social media users, with many focusing on the couple’s young age and the circumstances surrounding their marriage.
The story has also drawn attention to the experiences of people with hearing and speech disabilities, particularly the importance of communication and understanding in relationships.
At the same time, the couple’s reported age has brought renewed attention to discussions about early marriages in Pakistan, including questions surrounding the appropriate age for marriage and the circumstances in which young people enter marital relationships.
While the teenager’s account has captured public attention as an unconventional relationship story, it has also opened a broader conversation about child marriage and the challenges associated with marrying at a young age.
