Rawalpindi: (Waseem Hashmi) Alima Khan, sister of founder of PTI, addressed media outside marble factory naka, claiming that she was intimidated by the police and wrongly detained. She claimed that rumours of arrests beyond February 8 are being circulated and some reporters are making fear exponentially by repeating vlogs.
According to Alima Khan, the rule of law in Pakistan has been compromised, and even the judges do not have authority. She also stated that previously, under-trial cases used to be discussed on TV illegitimately, but now contempt of court is being perpetrated publicly. The rulings, she claimed, are pre-programmed in the orders of the National Accountability Bureau.
She even claimed that police at a checkpoint threatened her, and told people to follow some specific paths, as well as gave out one youth on condition. Alima Khan claimed that she was compelled to give a false testimony and a student called Najm was picked up chanting slogans in the support of the PTI founder. She referred to the actions of police as wild as women were pushed, and her sister dropped to the ground.
Alima Khan suggested to be arrested on behalf of the child and inquired how an average citizen is treated by the existing system. She has condemned the unethical behaviour and has claimed that promotions are given under oppression.
