GWADAR: (Yaseen Hashmi) Director General of Inter-Services Public Relations (DG ISPR) conducted a special interactive meeting with students and faculty at the University of Gwadar on the issues of the country and region and the problem of misinformation.
The DG ISPR presented the participants with information about state-sponsored acts of disinformation and anti-state propaganda spread through social media and the necessity of responsible and critical use of the digital space.
Students were sure that the Pakistan Army maintained the defense of the country, the Constitution and national dignity. The DG ISPR responded to the concerns of the students, neutralised the misconceptions and pointed out the evidence based practices to refute false narrations.
The respondents complimented the Pakistan Army on their firm stand in supporting the country through tough situations and on their relentless services to the country.
