PTI Condemns Deadly Suicide Blast at Islamabad Imambargah, Calls for Swift Justice

Lorem Ipsum is simply dummy text of the printing and typesetting industry. Lorem Ipsum has been the industry’s standard dummy text ever since the 1500s, when an unknown printer took a galley of type and scrambled it to make a type specimen book. It has survived not only five centuries, but also the leap into electronic typesetting, remaining essentially unchanged.

It was popularised in the 1960s with the release of Letraset sheets containing Lorem Ipsum passages, and more recently with desktop publishing software like Aldus PageMaker including versions of Lorem Ipsum.

ISLAMABAD: (Ayesha Naz) Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) has strongly condemned a deadly suicide bombing at Khadijat-ul-Kubra Imambargah in Islamabad’s Tarlai area, describing the attack as a brutal act of terrorism targeting innocent worshippers.

According to initial reports, the explosion killed more than a dozen people and left several others injured. Authorities and rescue teams rushed to the scene shortly after the blast, transferring the wounded to nearby hospitals while launching an investigation into the incident.

In a statement, PTI denounced the targeting of a place of worship as a cowardly and inhumane act, saying it reflects the violent intentions of militants seeking to destabilize peace in Pakistan. The party demanded immediate action against those responsible for orchestrating and facilitating the attack, urging law enforcement agencies to ensure that the perpetrators are brought to justice without delay.

PTI also expressed deep sorrow over the loss of lives, offering condolences and solidarity to the families of the victims. The party prayed for the departed souls and wished a swift and complete recovery for the injured, while calling on relevant authorities to provide the best possible medical care to those receiving treatment.

The statement further emphasized the need for national unity in the fight against terrorism, warning that extremist violence remains a serious threat to the country’s stability. PTI urged citizens and institutions to stand together to eliminate terrorism and promote lasting peace, tolerance and security across Pakistan.
