Three Killed as Speeding Car Crashes Into Electric Pole Near Doda Road, Sargodha

Lorem Ipsum is simply dummy text of the printing and typesetting industry. Lorem Ipsum has been the industry’s standard dummy text ever since the 1500s, when an unknown printer took a galley of type and scrambled it to make a type specimen book. It has survived not only five centuries, but also the leap into electronic typesetting, remaining essentially unchanged.

It was popularised in the 1960s with the release of Letraset sheets containing Lorem Ipsum passages, and more recently with desktop publishing software like Aldus PageMaker including versions of Lorem Ipsum.

SARGODHA: (Tahir Kamboh) Three people lost their lives in a tragic road accident after a speeding car crashed into an electricity pole near Doda on Sargodha-Lahore Road, rescue officials said.

According to initial reports, the car was traveling at high speed when the driver apparently lost control near Doda Road. The vehicle veered off the road and slammed into an electric pole with severe impact. As a result of the collision, three individuals inside the car died on the spot.

Local residents immediately informed emergency services after witnessing the accident. Rescue teams rushed to the scene and shifted the bodies to a nearby hospital for legal formalities. Authorities have yet to release the identities of the deceased, pending notification of their families.

Police officials stated that overspeeding appears to be the primary cause of the accident. An investigation has been launched to determine further details, including whether mechanical failure or driver negligence contributed to the crash.

Road accidents caused by reckless driving and speeding remain a serious concern across Punjab. Authorities have repeatedly urged motorists to follow traffic regulations and maintain safe driving speeds to prevent such tragic incidents.

Traffic police have also appealed to citizens to exercise caution, especially on highways and busy intercity roads, where high-speed driving often leads to fatal accidents.
