Trump Claims 10 Aircraft Downed in 2025 India Pakistan Conflict

Lorem Ipsum is simply dummy text of the printing and typesetting industry. Lorem Ipsum has been the industry’s standard dummy text ever since the 1500s, when an unknown printer took a galley of type and scrambled it to make a type specimen book. It has survived not only five centuries, but also the leap into electronic typesetting, remaining essentially unchanged.

It was popularised in the 1960s with the release of Letraset sheets containing Lorem Ipsum passages, and more recently with desktop publishing software like Aldus PageMaker including versions of Lorem Ipsum.

WASHINGTON: US President Donald Trump has again claimed that 10 aircraft were shot down during the May 2025 military conflict between Pakistan and India, while crediting his threat of tariffs for preventing what he described as a potential nuclear war between the two countries.

In an interview with Fox Business Trump said he used trade pressure to help defuse multiple global conflicts. I settled eight wars. At least six were settled because of tariffs he stated arguing that economic leverage played a key role in reducing tensions.

Referring to the brief but intense four day clash between Islamabad and New Delhi in May 2025 Trump said the situation could have escalated dangerously. It would have been a nuclear war in my opinion. They were really going at it. Ten planes were shot down he remarked without specifying which side suffered losses.

Trump also claimed that Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif had praised his intervention asserting that his tariff threat helped bring about a ceasefire.

India, however, has rejected Trump’s characterization, maintaining that the truce resulted from direct military-level contacts rather than external mediation.

Despite differing narratives, Trump continues to highlight the episode as an example of his foreign policy approach.
