Apple has unveiled the iPhone 18 Pro series, its first foldable iPhone Duo, Apple Watch Series 12, Watch Ultra 4 and AirPods 5 at its September 9 event.
Apple has officially unveiled its next-generation premium iPhone lineup, introducing the iPhone 18 Pro and iPhone 18 Pro Max alongside the company’s first foldable smartphone, the iPhone Duo, at its September 9, 2026, launch event.
The event, titled “Surprise and shine,” marked the first major Apple keynote under CEO John Ternus. Apple also introduced the Apple Watch Series 12, Apple Watch Ultra 4 and AirPods 5 as part of its latest hardware lineup.
The iPhone Duo is the biggest design change in Apple’s smartphone lineup in years. The foldable device features a 7.6-inch inner display and a 5.4-inch outer screen, with support for Apple Pencil and multitasking features. Apple has priced the device from $1,999, making it the company’s most expensive iPhone.
Apple’s iPhone 18 Pro and iPhone 18 Pro Max feature the new A20 Pro chip and an upgraded camera system. Apple says the 48-megapixel Fusion Main camera now includes variable aperture, giving users greater control over photography. The phones also feature a smaller Dynamic Island, improved battery performance and a new vapor-chamber cooling system designed to support sustained performance.
The company did not introduce the standard iPhone 18 at the September event. Reports indicate Apple is following a more staggered launch strategy, with the base model and other lower-priced variants expected in a later release window.
Apple also unveiled the Apple Watch Series 12 and Apple Watch Ultra 4. The Series 12 introduces a new Health Sensing System with higher-frequency heart-rate and heart-rate-variability measurements, along with a new readiness score. Apple says the watch is powered by its S11 chip and adds new health, fitness and audio-intelligence capabilities.
The company additionally introduced AirPods 5, expanding its latest hardware lineup beyond the iPhone and Apple Watch. Apple’s event page now lists the iPhone Duo, iPhone 18 Pro, Apple Watch Series 12, Apple Watch Ultra 4 and AirPods 5 among the products announced.
For Pakistani consumers, attention will now turn to international pricing, PTA-related costs, local availability and retail prices as the new devices enter markets outside the United States.
Apple has also made the full September 9 event available online, allowing viewers to watch the presentation through its official event platform.
