Basil Ali says Peshawar Zalmi’s real test will begin after PSL 11 progresses

Lorem Ipsum is simply dummy text of the printing and typesetting industry. Lorem Ipsum has been the industry’s standard dummy text ever since the 1500s, when an unknown printer took a galley of type and scrambled it to make a type specimen book. It has survived not only five centuries, but also the leap into electronic typesetting, remaining essentially unchanged.

It was popularised in the 1960s with the release of Letraset sheets containing Lorem Ipsum passages, and more recently with desktop publishing software like Aldus PageMaker including versions of Lorem Ipsum.

Former cricketer Basit Ali has said that Peshawar Zalmi’s real test in PSL 11 is about to begin.

While speaking on the program Sports Room, Basit Ali said that Zalmi are currently performing well at the top of the league, but their challenge will increase as Bangladesh players leave the tournament.

He praised Zalmi’s bowling performance, saying the bowlers have delivered outstanding spells and credit goes to the team management. However, he warned that the real test will come now as both Bangladeshi fast bowlers will depart.

On batting performance, he said Haris played very well, while Babar Azam played a slow innings but showed good captaincy. He added that talking about Mendis is unnecessary as his form is at its peak.

Basil Ali also appreciated Farhan Yousuf’s performance and said Bracewell continues to perform consistently. He further praised Josh Philippe and Ashton Turner for their strong performances, and said Shan Masood has improved significantly.

He remarked that had Shan Masood played a big innings of 60 to 70 runs, the match could have gone till the end, adding that he believes the final should ideally be between the two strongest teams.

Meanwhile, Kamran Akmal said that after Sufiyan Muqeem’s crucial over, the match slipped out of Multan Sultans’ hands. He added that both teams are playing excellent cricket, but he does not think any other team can defeat Zalmi at this stage.
