Hansa Singh returns home after 25 years, wife chooses current family

Lorem Ipsum is simply dummy text of the printing and typesetting industry. Lorem Ipsum has been the industry’s standard dummy text ever since the 1500s, when an unknown printer took a galley of type and scrambled it to make a type specimen book. It has survived not only five centuries, but also the leap into electronic typesetting, remaining essentially unchanged.

It was popularised in the 1960s with the release of Letraset sheets containing Lorem Ipsum passages, and more recently with desktop publishing software like Aldus PageMaker including versions of Lorem Ipsum.

A shocking and unusual incident has emerged from a village in Indian Punjab where the return of a man after 25 years of disappearance has turned into a family crisis instead of a moment of joy.

A man named Hansa Singh went missing mysteriously around 25 years ago. Despite extensive efforts by his family, no trace of him was ever found, and he was eventually presumed dead.

Over time, his wife Vimal was remarried with the consent of the family to Hansa Singh’s younger brother, Sukh Singh. The couple later had children together and continued their lives normally for more than two decades.

Recently, a mentally disturbed man was found begging in the Northur area of Uttar Pradesh. During questioning, police suspected his identity when he claimed to be Hansa Singh. The Uttar Pradesh police then contacted Punjab police, after which Hansa Singh’s brother and village head arrived for verification.

Due to the passage of time and changes in appearance, even his brother initially failed to recognize him. However, during a conversation involving childhood memories and family details, Hansa Singh became emotional and broke down in tears, confirming his identity.

The most difficult question after his return concerned Vimal’s future. On one side was her first husband who had returned after 25 years, and on the other was Sukh Singh, who had stood by her for 22 years and with whom she had built a life and had children.

Ultimately, Vimal chose her current family and children, and refused to accept Hansa Singh.
