Muzaffarabad: Field Marshal Syed Asim Munir, Chief of Defence Forces (CDF) of Pakistan, reaffirmed Pakistan’s unwavering moral and political support for the Kashmiri people during his visit to Muzaffarabad.
Honoring Martyrs:
During the visit, he was warmly welcomed by Corps Commander Rawalpindi and senior military officials. Field Marshal Munir laid a floral wreath at the Martyrs’ Memorial of Jammu and Kashmir, paying tribute to the Kashmiri martyrs who sacrificed their lives for self-determination.
Steadfast Support:
Field Marshal Munir emphasized that Pakistan’s commitment to Kashmir would never waver, despite ongoing challenges and Indian atrocities. He praised the determination of the Kashmiri people and said, “Their struggle for freedom will continue, and so will our support.”
International Advocacy:
He also expressed Pakistan’s resolve to raise the Kashmir issue at all international forums, seeking a just resolution in line with United Nations resolutions. Field Marshal Munir expressed confidence that Kashmir would soon witness freedom, reflecting the hopes of millions of Kashmiris.
The visit concluded with a clear message: Pakistan’s support for the people of Kashmir will remain unshaken as long as their fight for self-determination continues.
