G-14/4 Khidmat Markaz Earns Public Praise for Fast, Transparent Services in Islamabad

Lorem Ipsum is simply dummy text of the printing and typesetting industry. Lorem Ipsum has been the industry’s standard dummy text ever since the 1500s, when an unknown printer took a galley of type and scrambled it to make a type specimen book. It has survived not only five centuries, but also the leap into electronic typesetting, remaining essentially unchanged.

It was popularised in the 1960s with the release of Letraset sheets containing Lorem Ipsum passages, and more recently with desktop publishing software like Aldus PageMaker including versions of Lorem Ipsum.

ISLAMABAD: The Khidmat Markaz in Islamabad’s G-14/4 sector is receiving appreciation from citizens for providing timely and quality services, with visitors praising the staff for efficiency, transparency, courteous conduct and prompt service.

Citizens visiting the center said the staff, including In-charge Sub-Inspector Zafar Iqbal Harl, Medical Officer Dr. Waleed, Head Constable Atiqur Rehman, Constable Wajahat Hussain Shah and Constable Tahir Mahmood, were performing their duties with professionalism, responsibility and dedication.

According to visitors, the center continues to manage public dealing efficiently even during busy periods. They said they generally do not face prolonged waiting times or unnecessary queues, while the token system helps organize services and maintain a smooth workflow.

Citizens also praised Sub-Inspector Zafar Iqbal Harl for personally interacting with visitors and asking about their issues and required services. They said his approach, along with the staff’s responsiveness, helps ensure that citizens receive services without unnecessary delays.

Residents said the establishment of the Khidmat Markaz in G-14/4 has also reduced the need to travel to areas such as F-6 and G-8 for routine services. The availability of multiple services closer to their homes has provided greater convenience to residents of the area.

The center’s handling of driving tests also drew appreciation from citizens. Visitors said the driving tests were conducted on merit and that no compromise was made during the testing process.

Citizens further appreciated the cleanliness and overall environment of the facility, including seating arrangements, indoor and outdoor areas and washrooms. They described the center as well-maintained and said similar facilities should be established in other cities.

Speaking about his approach to public service, Sub-Inspector Zafar Iqbal Harl said he and his staff receive salaries from the national exchequer, with the money ultimately coming from taxpayers.

He said this creates a responsibility to perform their duties honestly and diligently. Harl added that his entire team was cooperating fully and that senior officers also consistently directed staff to work with honesty, dedication and a sense of duty.

He said that as long as he remained assigned to the position and duty, he would continue to regard his responsibilities not merely as a job but as a form of public service.

Citizens expressed hope that similar Khidmat Markaz facilities would be established in other parts of Islamabad so that residents can access government services closer to their homes in a timely, transparent and dignified manner.
