ISLAMABAD: A police Khidmat Markaz in Sector G-14/4 has emerged as a major convenience for residents, offering a range of police-related services without the long queues and delays that citizens often associate with administrative procedures.

Residents say the establishment of the center has made it significantly easier to access essential services within their own area. Among the services available are character certificates, driving licenses, learner permits, entries and investigation-related matters.

According to citizens, the center’s staff remains actively engaged in assisting and guiding visitors. They specifically appreciated the efforts of in-charge Sub-Inspector Zafar Iqbal Haral, Head Constable Atiqur Rehman, Constables Tahir and Wajahat Ali Shah, Dr. Waleed and other staff members.

Residents said they previously had to travel to the F-6 Khidmat Markaz to obtain several of these services. Heavy crowds there could result in longer waiting times and delays in completing routine tasks. The G-14/4 facility has brought many of those services closer to residents, reducing the time and inconvenience involved.

Citizens also praised Sub-Inspector Zafar Iqbal Haral for his courteous conduct and personal attention to visitors. They said he routinely checks whether a citizen’s work has been completed or if any issue remains unresolved.

Haral said the objective of police training and directions from senior officers is to ensure that citizens receive respectful, convenient and timely services. He emphasized that every citizen deserves dignity and respect and that his priority is to complete legitimate public requests without unnecessary delay.

He added that resolving citizens’ issues promptly provides him with professional satisfaction and peace of mind.
