India Clinch Under19 World Cup with Dominant 100 Run Win Over England

Lorem Ipsum is simply dummy text of the printing and typesetting industry. Lorem Ipsum has been the industry’s standard dummy text ever since the 1500s, when an unknown printer took a galley of type and scrambled it to make a type specimen book. It has survived not only five centuries, but also the leap into electronic typesetting, remaining essentially unchanged.

It was popularised in the 1960s with the release of Letraset sheets containing Lorem Ipsum passages, and more recently with desktop publishing software like Aldus PageMaker including versions of Lorem Ipsum.

Harare: India clinched the ICC Under 19 World Cup title in emphatic fashion after defeating England by 100 runs in the final delivering a dominant all round performance marked by explosive batting and disciplined bowling.

After winning the toss, India posted a colossal 411 for 9 in their allotted 50 overs. The innings was powered by a sensational knock from Vaibhav Suryavanshi who smashed 175 off just 80 balls striking 15 sixes and 15 fours in one of the most destructive centuries ever witnessed in an Under-19 World Cup final. Captain Ayush Mhatre anchored the innings with a composed 53 while Abhigyan Kundu Vedant Trivedi Vihaan Malhotra and Akanishk Chauhan made valuable contributions to keep the scoreboard racing.

England’s bowlers found little relief with James Minto claiming three wickets while Alex Green and Sebastian Morgan picked up two each.

Chasing a record target, England were bowled out for 311 in 40.2 overs despite a valiant 115 from Caleb Falconer. Ben Dawkins (66) and Ben Mize (45) offered support but India’s bowlers maintained pressure throughout. RS Ambrish led the attack with three wickets as India sealed a comprehensive victory and reaffirmed their dominance in youth cricket.
