Islamabad High Court Reserves Verdict on NCCIA Objections in Iman Mazari, Hadi Ali Chatha Sentence Suspension Case

Lorem Ipsum is simply dummy text of the printing and typesetting industry. Lorem Ipsum has been the industry’s standard dummy text ever since the 1500s, when an unknown printer took a galley of type and scrambled it to make a type specimen book. It has survived not only five centuries, but also the leap into electronic typesetting, remaining essentially unchanged.

It was popularised in the 1960s with the release of Letraset sheets containing Lorem Ipsum passages, and more recently with desktop publishing software like Aldus PageMaker including versions of Lorem Ipsum.

Islamabad High Court completed arguments on NCCIA’s preliminary objections and reserved its verdict before proceeding with the sentence suspension petitions filed by Iman Mazari and Hadi Ali Chatha.

ISLAMABAD: The Islamabad High Court on Friday reserved its verdict on preliminary applications filed by the National Cyber Crime Investigation Agency (NCCIA) challenging the maintainability of sentence suspension petitions submitted by lawyers and activists Iman Mazari and Hadi Ali Chatha.

The case was heard by Justice Azam Khan, who observed that the court would first announce its decision on the NCCIA’s miscellaneous applications before taking up the main petitions seeking suspension of the sentences.

During the proceedings, counsel for both sides concluded their arguments on the preliminary objections. Following the completion of arguments, the court reserved its judgment on the NCCIA’s applications.

The outcome of the reserved decision will determine whether the Islamabad High Court proceeds to hear the merits of the sentence suspension requests filed by Iman Mazari and Hadi Ali Chatha.
