The current Management Committee (MC) of Jinnah Garden Housing Society, officially known as the Federal Employees Cooperative Housing Society, has successfully completed its three-year tenure with dignity, transparency, and remarkable achievements.
In an exclusive conversation with Click Pakistan, MC Secretary Wajid Sahi stated that when the present management assumed responsibility, the society was facing outstanding liabilities amounting to millions of rupees owed to builders. He said these long-pending dues were cleared responsibly and in a timely manner.
Wajid Sahi further highlighted that the outgoing management is leaving behind assets worth billions of rupees for the benefit of society members. He emphasized that essential facilities including uninterrupted water supply, electricity, gas connections, well-maintained roads, and modern infrastructure were provided at the doorstep of residents.
He added that the development of children’s parks, mosques, and fully functional commercial markets has significantly raised the standard of Jinnah Garden, making it stand out among other housing societies in Islamabad.
Responding to a question regarding criticism, Wajid Sahi welcomed constructive criticism aimed at the betterment of the society, while stressing that personal attacks and character assassination serve no purpose. He expressed confidence that the coming months would clearly determine that his team remains the best choice to ensure a prosperous and secure future for Jinnah Garden members.
