Authorities have ordered residents of Khad Kocha sub-tehsil in Mastung district to remain indoors until further notice following a deterioration in the local security situation.
The Balochistan Home Department has imposed an indefinite curfew in Khad Kocha, a sub-tehsil of Mastung district, following a deterioration in the area’s law and order situation.
Assistant Interior Minister Babar Yousafzai announced that the emergency measure was introduced to help maintain public safety and support security operations. Under the curfew, residents have been instructed to remain inside their homes until further notice.
According to the official statement, ordinary citizens are strictly prohibited from leaving their homes during the curfew period. Authorities have urged the public to cooperate with security personnel and fully comply with administrative directives issued by the local administration.
Yousafzai warned that strict legal action will be taken against anyone found violating the curfew restrictions. Officials said the measures are aimed at restoring stability and preventing any further deterioration in the security environment.
Mastung district has experienced security challenges in the past, prompting authorities to adopt heightened security measures whenever the situation requires. Residents have been advised to stay informed through official government announcements and avoid unnecessary movement until the restrictions are lifted.
