The government of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa has issued a new schedule for public schools, directing strict implementation to improve discipline and academic standards.
According to details, primary school students will be required to attend school at 7:30 AM, with dismissal set for 1:35 PM. Morning assembly has been made mandatory, focusing on moral training, speeches, and practical activities.
The education department has instructed that students receive moral education three days a week through speeches and three days through skits. Additionally, schools must organize a weekly literary session, or “Bazm-e-Adab,” on the last working day.
Following the session, the final three periods will be allocated for teachers’ meetings and completion of records. In cases of teacher shortages or long absences, headteachers and subject specialists will be responsible for taking classes.
Authorities have directed all district education officers to ensure full compliance with the new timetable to enhance discipline and overall education quality.
