KP Medical Officer Recruitment Gains Momentum as Transparent Interview Process Continues in Peshawar Division

Lorem Ipsum is simply dummy text of the printing and typesetting industry. Lorem Ipsum has been the industry’s standard dummy text ever since the 1500s, when an unknown printer took a galley of type and scrambled it to make a type specimen book. It has survived not only five centuries, but also the leap into electronic typesetting, remaining essentially unchanged.

It was popularised in the 1960s with the release of Letraset sheets containing Lorem Ipsum passages, and more recently with desktop publishing software like Aldus PageMaker including versions of Lorem Ipsum.

Health Secretary reviews interview panels, assures merit-based hiring to strengthen public healthcare system

PESHAWAR: The recruitment of medical officers in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa’s Peshawar Division is progressing rapidly, with authorities emphasizing transparency and merit as interviews continue in an organized and closely monitored environment.

Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Health Secretary Shahidullah visited the Commissioner Office in Peshawar alongside Commissioner Peshawar Division Riaz Khan Mehsud to review the ongoing recruitment process. The visit underscored the provincial government’s commitment to ensuring a fair and efficient hiring system aimed at strengthening healthcare delivery across the region.

During the visit, the health secretary inspected multiple interview panels and conducted a detailed assessment of the recruitment procedures. Officials briefed him on the operational framework, candidate evaluation methods, and administrative arrangements in place to maintain transparency.

Expressing satisfaction over the arrangements, Shahidullah praised the efforts of the organizing teams, noting that the process reflected a strong commitment to merit and accountability. He highlighted that transparent recruitment is critical to restoring public trust and improving the quality of healthcare services in government facilities.

The health secretary also interacted with candidates appearing for interviews, seeking feedback on the facilities and overall experience. Several candidates expressed satisfaction with the arrangements, citing smooth coordination and adequate support during the process.

Officials ensured that candidates were provided with necessary amenities, including guidance, waiting areas, and streamlined procedures to minimize inconvenience. Shahidullah acknowledged these efforts, stating that a candidate-friendly environment is essential for a fair recruitment process.

Reaffirming the government’s stance, the health secretary stressed that the recruitment drive would continue strictly on merit, without any discrimination or external influence. He assured candidates that transparency would be upheld at every stage, and no injustice would be tolerated.

The ongoing recruitment is part of a broader strategy by the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa government to address staffing shortages in public healthcare facilities and improve service delivery. By inducting qualified medical officers through a transparent system, authorities aim to enhance patient care and strengthen the province’s healthcare infrastructure.

As interviews continue, officials expect the recruitment process to conclude successfully, paving the way for the deployment of new medical officers in hospitals and health centers across the Peshawar Division.
