Maryam Nawaz’s daughter Mahnoor Safdar tied the knot with industrialist Jabbar Khalid’s son Azaan Jabbar in an elegant ceremony.
Mahnoor Safdar, daughter of Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz Sharif and Captain Safdar, has tied the knot with Azaan Jabbar, son of industrialist Jabbar Khalid.
Mahnoor, who recently graduated, had been the subject of marriage speculation shortly after completing her studies. Her mother, Maryam Nawaz, had also hinted at her daughter’s upcoming marriage during a visit to the United Kingdom.
When a journalist asked whether Mahnoor had any plans to enter politics, Maryam Nawaz responded by saying, “Pray for her good fortune.”
Mahnoor is the granddaughter of former prime minister Mian Muhammad Nawaz Sharif and comes from one of Pakistan’s most prominent political families.
On her nikah day, Mahnoor Safdar looked elegant in a sophisticated bridal ensemble. She opted for a dull-gold outfit by designer Nida Azwer, featuring intricate embroidery in turquoise, tea-pink, dull-gold and silver tones.
Her overall look was complemented by an elegant diamond jewellery set and soft ivory and pink-toned makeup. She chose a clean hairstyle with her hair kept half-open, adding to the understated yet glamorous appearance.
