NADRA Vaccination Certificate Made Mandatory for International Travellers From Sept 14

Lorem Ipsum is simply dummy text of the printing and typesetting industry. Lorem Ipsum has been the industry’s standard dummy text ever since the 1500s, when an unknown printer took a galley of type and scrambled it to make a type specimen book. It has survived not only five centuries, but also the leap into electronic typesetting, remaining essentially unchanged.

It was popularised in the 1960s with the release of Letraset sheets containing Lorem Ipsum passages, and more recently with desktop publishing software like Aldus PageMaker including versions of Lorem Ipsum.

Pakistan’s Airport Health Department has directed international travellers, particularly Umrah pilgrims, to complete vaccination documentation before departure.

ISLAMABAD: International travellers departing from Pakistan will be required to possess a NADRA vaccination certificate from Sept. 14, according to the Airport Health Department.

The department has specifically advised Umrah pilgrims travelling to Saudi Arabia to obtain their NADRA vaccination cards before departure to avoid problems during the boarding process.

According to a notification issued by the Airport Health Department, the Federal Government Civil Dispensary has been designated as the only centre responsible for vaccinating international travellers.

Airlines have also been directed to ensure that Umrah pilgrims hold valid vaccination certificates before allowing them to board their flights. Airlines will be responsible for verifying the vaccination documents of passengers travelling internationally.

The requirement is intended to ensure that international travellers, particularly pilgrims, meet mandatory health and vaccination requirements before leaving Pakistan.

Passengers who intend to receive vaccination at the airport have been advised to reach the airport at least six hours before their scheduled departure.

According to the notification, vaccination procedures and online registration for international travel will be conducted at the airport for eligible passengers.

The Airport Health Department has urged travellers to complete the required vaccination process and obtain their NADRA certificates well before their departure to avoid delays or difficulties at the airport.

Umrah pilgrims have been particularly advised to arrange their vaccination documentation in advance because airlines will be required to verify the certificates before boarding.

The measures come as Pakistani pilgrims prepare to travel to Saudi Arabia for Umrah, making health documentation an important part of their travel preparations.
