Upcoming television drama honors the courage, leadership and ultimate sacrifice of Tamgha-e-Jurat recipient Shaheed Captain Isfandyar Ahmad Bukhari.
Pakistan’s television industry is set to honor one of the country’s national heroes with a new drama based on the life of Shaheed Captain Isfandyar Ahmad Bukhari. The recently released teaser has received widespread appreciation, with viewers praising the initiative to spotlight the bravery and sacrifice of the young Pakistan Army officer.
Born in Attock in 1988, Captain Isfandyar Ahmad Bukhari embraced martyrdom while leading Pakistan Army troops during the terrorist attack on Pakistan Air Force Camp Badaber in Peshawar on September 18, 2015. His extraordinary courage during the operation earned him the Tamgha-e-Jurat, one of Pakistan’s highest military gallantry awards.
Captain Isfandyar was also a recipient of the prestigious Sword of Honour at the Pakistan Military Academy, reflecting his exceptional leadership and performance during military training.
Directed by Haseeb Hassan, the drama is written by Abid Hassan Bukhari and produced by 7th Sky Entertainment. The cast features Ali Ammar, Hina Afridi, Nauman Masood, Salma Hasan, Tauseeq Haider, Hina Bayat and Nayyer Ejaz.
