Nora NEO and Metro Electric Vehicles Set to Launch in Pakistan With 300km Range

Nora’s upcoming NEO and Metro electric quadricycles feature a claimed range of up to 300 kilometres, 4kW motors and expected prices below Rs3 million.

Nora is preparing to introduce two electric vehicles, the NEO and Metro, in Pakistan, targeting urban commuters with a claimed driving range of up to 300 kilometres on a single charge and expected prices below Rs3 million each.

Both vehicles fall into the L7 quadricycle category and share several major specifications, including a 23.1kWh lithium iron phosphate (LFP) battery, a 4kW electric motor and a maximum speed of 70 kilometres per hour.

Although the company has yet to officially confirm their prices, the two models could provide another option for Pakistani buyers seeking an electric vehicle for daily city travel.

Nora NEO and Metro Battery, Range and Performance

According to the provided specifications, the Nora NEO and Metro offer a claimed driving range of 250km to 300km on a full charge. Both use a 72-volt electrical system and rear-wheel drive.

Nora estimates that charging the battery takes approximately six to eight hours. Each vehicle can accommodate up to four passengers, making the models potential options for small families and urban commuters.

Their maximum speed of 70km/h makes them more suited to routine city journeys than high-speed motorway travel.

However, the advertised range may vary depending on road conditions, passenger load, weather, driving habits and the use of electrical features. Real-world performance will need to be assessed after the vehicles become available.

Nora NEO Features and Design

The Nora NEO features a modern exterior and a technology-focused cabin. Its listed equipment includes a 9-inch HD touchscreen, keyless entry, push-button start and a multifunction steering wheel.

The vehicle also comes with an electronic parking brake and disc brakes on all four wheels.

The NEO has a wheelbase of 2,300 millimetres, ground clearance of 180mm and 175/70 R13 tyres. These specifications place it among the compact electric vehicles aimed at everyday urban mobility.

The combination of convenience features and compact dimensions could appeal to buyers looking for an alternative to conventional petrol-powered vehicles for short journeys.

Nora Metro Offers Higher Ground Clearance

The Nora Metro shares the NEO’s main powertrain specifications but has a different design and equipment package.

Its listed features include a touchscreen infotainment system, keyless entry, push-button start, power windows and a reversing camera. The camera could help drivers manoeuvre in confined parking spaces.

The Metro has a 2,360mm wheelbase, slightly longer than the NEO’s, and ground clearance of 210mm. It rides on 195/70 R14 tyres.

Its greater ground clearance may be useful on uneven urban roads and speed breakers, although the vehicle’s actual ride quality will depend on its suspension and overall design.

Nora NEO and Metro Expected Prices in Pakistan

The Nora NEO and Metro are reportedly expected to cost less than Rs3 million each. However, official prices, booking details and delivery schedules have not been confirmed.

Their final pricing, charging requirements, after-sales support and real-world driving range will be important factors for potential buyers.

If the company maintains the expected price range, both models could attract commuters seeking compact electric vehicles for daily use. Buyers will need to wait for Nora’s official announcement to confirm the specifications, prices and availability of the two vehicles in Pakistan.
