Pakistan has temporarily suspended Operation Ghazab ul Haq in respect of Eid ul Fitr according to Information Minister Atta Tarar. The decision was taken to honor the religious significance of the Islamic festival and to promote peace during the celebrations.
The minister stated that the pause in military operations also came in response to requests from brotherly Muslim countries including Saudi Arabia Turkey and Qatar. He emphasized that maintaining unity and respect among Muslim nations was an important factor behind this move.
According to official details the operation will remain suspended starting tonight and will continue until the night between March 23 and 24. During this period, security forces will remain alert but will refrain from active operations unless provoked.
Atta Tarar further warned that if any cross-border attack, terrorist activity, or drone strike occurs during the suspension period the operation will resume with greater intensity. He reiterated that Pakistan remains fully committed to defending its sovereignty and ensuring national security at all costs.
The temporary halt reflects both religious respect and diplomatic coordination, while also maintaining a firm stance against any potential threats.
