Islamabad: The Government of Pakistan has officially announced that the national cricket team will participate in the ICC T20 World Cup, but will not play the match scheduled against India on February 15.
On Sunday, the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) confirmed the statement issued by the government, clarifying that while the team has been allowed to compete in the tournament, it will not take the field for the Colombo match against India.
No further details regarding the reasons behind skipping the India fixture were provided in the statement. Cricket fans are closely watching the developments, as this decision affects one of the most anticipated matches of the T20 World Cup.
