Police launch investigation after Pashto TikTok creator is killed in a domestic dispute that ends in a murder-suicide.
A well-known Pashto TikTok creator was shot dead by her husband in Islamabad in a suspected domestic violence incident, police said Sunday.
The victim, identified as Sana Javed, popularly known by her TikTok alias “Outlofara,” was killed in the H-11 sector within the jurisdiction of H-11 Police Station. She was a resident of Attock and had gained popularity for her Pashto-language videos on social media.
According to police, her husband, Muhammad Sadiq, allegedly opened fire on her before taking his own life. Authorities recovered three shell casings and a 9mm pistol from the scene, which has been taken into custody as part of the investigation.
Police officials said Sadiq was a former constable with Attock Police who had been dismissed from service. Both individuals died from gunshot wounds, and their bodies were shifted for post-mortem examination.
Investigators noted that Sana had previously been married to Shafiq Ahmed before divorcing and later marrying Sadiq. Authorities added that the couple had a history of frequent disputes, and the incident appears to have stemmed from ongoing domestic conflict.
