Schools Across Punjab Resume Classes Under New Timings

Lorem Ipsum is simply dummy text of the printing and typesetting industry. Lorem Ipsum has been the industry’s standard dummy text ever since the 1500s, when an unknown printer took a galley of type and scrambled it to make a type specimen book. It has survived not only five centuries, but also the leap into electronic typesetting, remaining essentially unchanged.

It was popularised in the 1960s with the release of Letraset sheets containing Lorem Ipsum passages, and more recently with desktop publishing software like Aldus PageMaker including versions of Lorem Ipsum.

Schools across Punjab, including Lahore, have resumed classes following the province-wide summer break under revised operating hours.

LAHORE: Educational institutions across Punjab, including schools in Lahore, reopened Monday after more than two and a half months of summer vacation, marking the resumption of classroom activities across the province.

According to a notification issued by the Punjab Education Department, single-shift schools will start classes at 8 a.m. and close at 1:30 p.m.

Double-shift institutions will operate in two sessions. The first shift will run from 8 a.m. to noon, while the second shift will begin at 1 p.m. and continue until 5:30 p.m.

The reopening brings an end to the province-wide summer break, with students and teachers returning to schools as educational activities resume under the newly announced schedule.

The start of the new academic routine comes as several other national issues remain in focus, including political consultations between Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif and PML-N President Nawaz Sharif.

Concerns over the proposed judicial commission into the Mir Raza case and renewed debate over the relocation of major national institutions from Karachi to Islamabad are also drawing attention.
