ISLAMABAD:(Ayesha Naz)- Speaker of the National Assembly, Sardar Ayaz Sadiq, has paid rich tribute to Pakistan’s security forces for successfully eliminating 13 Indian-backed terrorists during intelligence-based operations in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa. He praised the forces for their professionalism, courage, and unwavering commitment in the fight against terrorism.
In his statement, the Speaker said that the successful actions against foreign-sponsored terrorist elements were a source of pride for the entire nation. He specifically highlighted the operations carried out in Bannu and Kurram, stating that these actions against “Fitna-e-Hindustan” clearly demonstrated the exceptional operational capabilities and preparedness of Pakistan’s security forces.
Sardar Ayaz Sadiq emphasized that the nation salutes the bravery and sacrifices of its security personnel who continue to lay down their lives to safeguard Pakistan’s peace and stability. He reaffirmed that counterterrorism operations would continue until terrorism is completely eradicated from the country.
The Speaker further stated that ongoing operations under the “Azm-e-Istehkam” initiative are vital to ensuring national security and long-term stability. He reiterated Pakistan’s zero-tolerance policy against Indian-backed terrorist elements and stressed that the parliament and the entire nation stand shoulder to shoulder with the security forces and law enforcement agencies.
He concluded by stating that eliminating foreign-sponsored terrorism from Pakistan is essential for lasting peace and security.
