US Intel Bombshell: Iran Still Holds 70% of Missile Power Despite American Strikes

Lorem Ipsum is simply dummy text of the printing and typesetting industry. Lorem Ipsum has been the industry’s standard dummy text ever since the 1500s, when an unknown printer took a galley of type and scrambled it to make a type specimen book. It has survived not only five centuries, but also the leap into electronic typesetting, remaining essentially unchanged.

It was popularised in the 1960s with the release of Letraset sheets containing Lorem Ipsum passages, and more recently with desktop publishing software like Aldus PageMaker including versions of Lorem Ipsum.

WASHINGTON: A newly surfaced US intelligence assessment has revealed that Iran still retains nearly 70% of its missile capabilities despite recent American strikes, contradicting repeated claims by the Trump administration that Tehran’s military infrastructure had been severely weakened.

According to a report published by The New York Times, classified findings from US intelligence agencies indicate that Iran has managed to preserve a significant portion of its missile arsenal and restore operational access to several strategic military sites.

The report stated that Iranian forces have regained access to 30 out of 33 missile bases positioned along the strategically vital Strait of Hormuz. The development has sparked renewed concerns among US defense officials, as the region serves as one of the world’s most critical oil transit chokepoints.

Military analysts believe the restored missile infrastructure could pose a direct threat to American warships and international oil tankers operating in Gulf waters. The Strait of Hormuz handles a major share of global energy shipments, making any escalation in the region a serious concern for international markets.

The intelligence findings reportedly challenge earlier assertions made by former US President Donald Trump and his administration, who had claimed that US military operations inflicted devastating damage on Iran’s offensive capabilities.

Experts say Iran’s ability to maintain underground facilities, mobile launch systems and backup command networks allowed it to absorb military pressure while keeping much of its missile program intact. The latest assessment suggests Tehran remains capable of rapidly reactivating its regional deterrence systems despite sustained external pressure.

The revelations are expected to intensify debate within US security circles over the effectiveness of previous military operations against Iran, while also raising fears of renewed instability across the Middle East.
