Senior police leadership visited families of fallen officers, reaffirming long-term institutional support and respect for their sacrifices.
The Regional Police Officer (RPO) of Dera Ismail Khan, Ghulam Mubashir Maken, visited the homes of police martyrs on Thursday, meeting the families and children of officers who lost their lives in the line of duty.
During the visit across Dera Ismail Khan, the RPO paid tribute to the courage, loyalty, and sacrifice of the fallen personnel, describing them as a strong protective barrier between the state and militant threats. He personally inquired about the wellbeing of the bereaved families and assured them of continued institutional care and support.
Speaking on the occasion, he emphasized that the sacrifices of martyrs cannot be forgotten and that their families remain a central responsibility of the department. He added that the police force stands firmly with the families of those who gave their lives for national security and peace.
The RPO further stated that martyrs hold a revered status and their legacy continues through their children and colleagues serving in the force. He reaffirmed that efforts to eliminate security threats would continue with determination.
Family members of the martyrs expressed gratitude for the visit and acknowledged the ongoing sacrifices of security personnel. They reiterated their commitment to supporting law enforcement efforts despite past losses.
