PM Shehbaz Sharif Reaffirms Support for Saudi Arabia After Oil Facility Attack

Lorem Ipsum is simply dummy text of the printing and typesetting industry. Lorem Ipsum has been the industry’s standard dummy text ever since the 1500s, when an unknown printer took a galley of type and scrambled it to make a type specimen book. It has survived not only five centuries, but also the leap into electronic typesetting, remaining essentially unchanged.

It was popularised in the 1960s with the release of Letraset sheets containing Lorem Ipsum passages, and more recently with desktop publishing software like Aldus PageMaker including versions of Lorem Ipsum.

Islamabad: Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif has expressed strong solidarity with Saudi Arabia following an attack on an oil facility in the kingdom, reaffirming Pakistan’s support during a phone call with Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman.

According to official statements, the prime minister condemned the strike on the Al Jubail oil facility and conveyed Pakistan’s “unwavering solidarity” with the Saudi leadership and its people. He emphasized that Pakistan stands “shoulder to shoulder” with Saudi Arabia and appreciated the kingdom’s restraint despite rising regional tensions.

The attack comes amid escalating conflict in the Middle East, where Iran has been accused of launching missile and drone strikes targeting energy infrastructure in Saudi Arabia’s Eastern Region. Pakistan’s Foreign Office described these attacks as a serious violation of Saudi sovereignty and warned that such actions could further destabilize the already volatile region.

Pakistan’s military leadership also strongly condemned the strikes, calling them an unnecessary escalation that undermines ongoing peace efforts. The corps commanders expressed concern that continued aggression could derail diplomatic initiatives aimed at resolving the crisis.

Reiterating its commitment to peace, Pakistan stressed the importance of dialogue and de-escalation, pledging to continue playing a responsible role in promoting regional stability.
