Traffic Halted on Expressway as Late-Night VIP Movement Planned in Capital

Lorem Ipsum is simply dummy text of the printing and typesetting industry. Lorem Ipsum has been the industry’s standard dummy text ever since the 1500s, when an unknown printer took a galley of type and scrambled it to make a type specimen book. It has survived not only five centuries, but also the leap into electronic typesetting, remaining essentially unchanged.

It was popularised in the 1960s with the release of Letraset sheets containing Lorem Ipsum passages, and more recently with desktop publishing software like Aldus PageMaker including versions of Lorem Ipsum.

Authorities suspend traffic flow on key route as security tightened for anticipated high-level movement.

ISLAMABAD: Authorities have closed the Islamabad Expressway near Korral Chowk for all types of traffic, citing expected late-night VIP movement in the federal capital.

According to traffic updates, the closure affects vehicles traveling toward Islamabad, with commuters advised to use alternative routes to avoid delays. The move comes as part of heightened security arrangements across key مناطق of the city.

Officials indicated that the VIP movement is expected to take place from the Old Airport area toward the Red Zone, a highly secured district housing important government buildings and diplomatic missions.

Law enforcement agencies have increased their presence along major routes, while temporary traffic diversions have been put in place to manage the situation. Commuters, particularly those traveling late at night, have been urged to plan accordingly and follow instructions issued by traffic authorities.

Such measures are typically implemented during high-level visits or sensitive movements involving senior officials and foreign delegations. However, authorities have not disclosed specific details regarding the individuals involved in the movement.

The closure is expected to remain in effect until the completion of the VIP transit, after which normal traffic flow will be restored.
