Registrar office confirms suspension of judicial work at Islamabad High Court while district courts continue normal operations.
SLAMABAD: The Islamabad High Court will remain closed tomorrow, with no judicial work to be conducted, according to an official statement issued by the Registrar Office.
The announcement comes in connection with security arrangements related to the ongoing diplomatic activity surrounding the second round of Iran-US talks being hosted in the federal capital.
The Registrar Office confirmed that all judicial proceedings at the Islamabad High Court will remain suspended for the day. As a result, hearings scheduled for tomorrow will not be conducted, and litigants have been advised to await further instructions regarding rescheduling.
Despite the closure of the High Court, the statement clarified that District and Sessions Courts across Islamabad will continue to function as per their regular schedule, and no disruption has been reported at that level.
Authorities have taken precautionary measures in view of heightened security protocols in and around key areas of the capital, particularly due to sensitive diplomatic engagements taking place.
Legal practitioners and court staff have been informed accordingly, and further updates will be issued if any changes occur in the schedule.
