Newly appointed SHO Kaleem Khan introduces strict measures in Nowshera’s Thana Azakhail, warning that even facilitators of criminals will face legal action.
A major shift in policing strategy has emerged in Nowshera’s Thana Azakhail, where newly appointed Station House Officer (SHO) Kaleem Khan has issued a stern warning to criminals and their supporters, signaling a zero-tolerance approach toward crime and its facilitators.
Upon assuming charge, SHO Kaleem Khan made it clear that the police will no longer differentiate between direct offenders and those who support or shelter them. He stated that anyone who arrives at the police station in support of a known criminal could also face an FIR and strict legal consequences.
According to official sources, the SHO has already compiled a comprehensive record of active criminals in the area. Internal restructuring has also been carried out within the station, including changes in the reader system, patrol squads, and mobile units to ensure more effective crime control and rapid response.
The officer further emphasized that individuals who provide bail or assist criminals in any form will be treated as co-accused. He particularly warned against those involved in drug trafficking, robbery, and other serious offenses, stating that operations against such networks will continue without exception.
As part of the new enforcement policy, authorities have also decided to publicly identify individuals involved in aiding criminals, including displaying their photographs at the police station entrance if required under legal procedure.
SHO Kaleem Khan assured citizens that large-scale operations against organized criminal groups will soon be visible in the area. He reiterated the police commitment to restoring peace and maintaining law and order at all costs.
He also appealed to the public to cooperate with law enforcement agencies and report any suspicious activity immediately so that crime can be eliminated effectively from the region.
