More than 200 blood bags were collected during a joint blood donation campaign aimed at supporting children battling thalassemia in Sargodha.
SARGODHA: A joint blood donation camp organized by Sargodha Police and the Suthra Punjab initiative collected more than 200 blood bags to support children suffering from thalassemia, marking a significant humanitarian effort in the district.
The campaign saw active participation from Suthra Punjab workers, who voluntarily donated blood to help ensure a steady supply for young patients requiring regular transfusions. The initiative highlighted the importance of community involvement in addressing the ongoing needs of children living with the genetic blood disorder.
SP Investigation Sargodha Imran Abbas Chadhar visited the blood donation camp and appreciated the volunteers for their generous contribution. Speaking on the occasion, he said the collaborative effort between Sargodha Police and Suthra Punjab would prove to be a milestone in saving innocent lives.
He emphasized that children battling thalassemia depend on regular blood donations to continue their fight for survival and urged citizens to participate in such humanitarian campaigns whenever possible.
