Pakistan will host Sri Lanka and England from October to November, featuring T20Is, a three-nation ODI series and two World Test Championship matches.
Pakistan is set for a packed home cricket season after the schedule for Sri Lanka and England’s tours was announced, with international action planned across Rawalpindi, Lahore and Islamabad from October through November.
Sri Lanka’s tour of Pakistan will begin on Oct. 4. The visitors will first face Pakistan in a three-match T20 International series, with all three games scheduled to be played in Rawalpindi on Oct. 9, 11 and 13.
England will then join Pakistan and Sri Lanka for an ODI tri-series. The three-nation tournament will run from Oct. 18 to 31, with matches scheduled in Rawalpindi and Lahore. The series will provide Pakistan with an opportunity to test its ODI combination against two international opponents on home soil.
Sri Lanka will return to longer-format action in November, playing a three-day match in Islamabad from Nov. 4 to 6 before beginning a two-Test series against Pakistan.
The first Test is scheduled for Nov. 9-13 at Rawalpindi, while the second Test will be played at Lahore’s Gaddafi Stadium from Nov. 17-21.
The two-Test series carries added significance as it forms part of the ICC World Test Championship 2025-27, making the results important for both teams’ campaign in the ongoing championship cycle.
With T20Is, a three-team ODI competition and World Test Championship Tests all included, Pakistan’s home season is expected to offer a broad test of its white-ball and red-ball squads while giving fans several weeks of international cricket.
