Pakistani students have achieved notable success at the Harvard Model United Nations China, securing the Best Small Delegation award and five individual honors at the international event.
More than 70 delegations from educational institutions around the world participated in the prestigious Model United Nations conference, where students debated global issues and represented different countries in simulated United Nations proceedings.
A team from Cedar College and School delivered an impressive performance to win the Best Small Delegation award. Members of the delegation also secured five individual honors for their performance during the debates.
Naveen Raj, Muhammad Ahmed Hussain and Maliha Ali received Best Delegate awards for presenting strong arguments during the sessions. Saliqa Murtaza and Alishba Wazir were recognized as Best Diplomats for their diplomatic strategies and performance.
Students from Lahore also represented Pakistan at the event. Hussam Moazzam, a student of Beaconhouse School Lahore, received an Honorable Mention award for his performance.
