Iranian President Pezeshkian Says Nation Will Not Bow to US, Israeli Pressure

Lorem Ipsum is simply dummy text of the printing and typesetting industry. Lorem Ipsum has been the industry’s standard dummy text ever since the 1500s, when an unknown printer took a galley of type and scrambled it to make a type specimen book. It has survived not only five centuries, but also the leap into electronic typesetting, remaining essentially unchanged.

It was popularised in the 1960s with the release of Letraset sheets containing Lorem Ipsum passages, and more recently with desktop publishing software like Aldus PageMaker including versions of Lorem Ipsum.

Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian says Tehran will not yield to pressure and reserves the right to defend its security and national interests.

Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian has sent a firm message to the United States and Israel, saying the Iranian people will not surrender to pressure or bow to their adversaries.

Pezeshkian made the remarks while addressing religious leaders, intellectuals and business figures in New Delhi, where he discussed the regional situation and the challenges facing Iran.

Iran will not accept pressure

Pezeshkian said attempts were being made to force Iran to change its policies through threats and pressure. However, he said the Iranian people would not accept such pressure and would not retreat from their position.

The Iranian president said that if further pressure was placed on Iran, the country reserved the right to respond in defense of its security and interests. He also stressed that the Iranian people would remain committed to defending their country despite difficult circumstances.

Accusations against US and Israel

During his address, Pezeshkian strongly criticized the United States and Israel, accusing them of targeting civilians.

He claimed that 168 children at a school were killed in a single incident and questioned how Iran could be labeled a terrorist state after such actions.

Pezeshkian said attacks on civilian populations and the loss of human lives were unacceptable. He questioned why, if a war was being fought, military targets were not the sole focus.

Questions over schools and hospitals

The Iranian president also accused the United States and Israel of targeting scientists, schools and hospitals.

He argued that military operations should be limited to military personnel and installations rather than civilians and essential infrastructure.

Pezeshkian said attacks on infrastructure, employment and people’s livelihoods ultimately cause the greatest harm to ordinary citizens. He reiterated that the Iranian people were not prepared to surrender under pressure.

Pezeshkian in India for BRICS summit

Pezeshkian arrived in India on Friday to attend the BRICS summit. His visit comes amid continuing tensions between the United States and Iran and a wider regional conflict that has drawn international attention.

The statements in New Delhi underline Tehran’s continued opposition to external pressure and its stated determination to defend what it considers its national security and interests.
