Pakistan Says 663 Militants Killed in Operation Ghazab ul Haq

Lorem Ipsum is simply dummy text of the printing and typesetting industry. Lorem Ipsum has been the industry’s standard dummy text ever since the 1500s, when an unknown printer took a galley of type and scrambled it to make a type specimen book. It has survived not only five centuries, but also the leap into electronic typesetting, remaining essentially unchanged.

It was popularised in the 1960s with the release of Letraset sheets containing Lorem Ipsum passages, and more recently with desktop publishing software like Aldus PageMaker including versions of Lorem Ipsum.

Attaullah Tarar Pakistan’s Information Minister, has released new details about the ongoing Operation Ghazab ul Haq claiming significant losses inflicted on militant groups identified as Fitna al Khawarij and fighters linked to the Afghan Taliban.

In a statement shared on social media, Tarar said that Pakistani security forces have killed 663 militants during the operation so far, while more than 887 others have been wounded. The minister described the campaign as part of Pakistan’s efforts to eliminate cross-border militant threats and strengthen national security.

According to the figures released, a total of 249 militant check posts have been destroyed, while 44 additional posts were captured and then demolished during the course of the operation. Tarar also stated that security forces have destroyed 224 tanks, armored vehicles, and artillery units belonging to militant groups.

He further claimed that Pakistani forces carried out airstrikes on 70 locations linked to terrorist infrastructure inside Afghanistan. The air operations reportedly targeted militant facilities during the night between March 12 and March 13.

Tarar said the strikes were aimed at dismantling militant support networks and preventing cross-border attacks against Pakistan, adding that the operation remains ongoing as security forces continue their efforts to neutralize militant threats in the region.
