Pakistan all rounder Hussain Talat suffered a shoulder injury while fielding during the second One Day International (ODI) against Bangladesh national cricket team in Dhaka.
The match saw Pakistan national cricket team set a target of 275 runs for Bangladesh. During the Bangladeshi innings, Talat was injured while attempting to field the ball causing concern among players and team officials on the field.
Following the incident, the Pakistani all rounder appeared to be in visible discomfort and was unable to continue playing. Medical staff from the Pakistan Cricket Board quickly rushed onto the field to provide immediate medical assistance. After receiving initial treatment, Talat was placed on a stretcher and taken off the field.
According to the Pakistan Cricket Board, the team’s medical staff conducted a preliminary assessment during the match. After the initial evaluation, Hussain Talat was transferred to a nearby hospital for further examination and detailed medical tests.
The PCB stated that doctors will determine the exact nature and severity of the shoulder injury after a complete medical check-up. Further updates regarding Talat’s condition and his availability for upcoming matches will be shared once medical reports are finalized.
