NOWSHERA: District Police Officer Ahmed Shah personally monitored security arrangements along Muharram 10 mourning procession routes on Ashura, underscoring the district police’s commitment to maintaining law and order during one of the year’s most sensitive religious observances.
During the inspection, Ahmed Shah received detailed briefings from officers deployed in the field and reviewed the latest ground situation to ensure security measures were being implemented effectively. His visit aimed to assess operational readiness and reinforce coordination among law enforcement personnel.
The district police chief also visited the Central Control Room at the Police Lines, where he examined the live monitoring system using CCTV cameras and drone surveillance. Officials briefed him on the real-time monitoring of processions taking place across the district.
Addressing officers, Ahmed Shah instructed them to maintain the highest level of vigilance, avoid any lapse in security, treat mourners with respect, and remain fully prepared to respond to any emergency.
