Indian Media Claims ICC Drops Bangladesh After Venue Dispute

Lorem Ipsum is simply dummy text of the printing and typesetting industry. Lorem Ipsum has been the industry’s standard dummy text ever since the 1500s, when an unknown printer took a galley of type and scrambled it to make a type specimen book. It has survived not only five centuries, but also the leap into electronic typesetting, remaining essentially unchanged.

It was popularised in the 1960s with the release of Letraset sheets containing Lorem Ipsum passages, and more recently with desktop publishing software like Aldus PageMaker including versions of Lorem Ipsum.

Islamabad: (Sports Desk) Indian media on Thursday claimed that the international Cricket Council (ICC) has decided to replace Bangladesh with Scotland in the upcoming ICC men’s T20 global Cup after rejecting Bangladesh’s request to change its match venue.
According to Indian media reports, the ICC refused a request from the Bangladesh Cricket Board (BCB) to shift Bangladesh’s T20 world Cup matches from India to Sri Lanka. sources cited by the reviews said the decision prompted the ICC to move forward with Scotland as a replacement, with an official statement expected soon.

The reports further said that the BCB has maintained its role of no longer sending the national team to India, citing concerns, and instead sought relocation of its matches to a neutral venue. Following the ICC’s refusal, Indian media claimed that the governing body opted to exclude Bangladesh from the tournament.

Earlier, a private Indian television channel reported that the BCB had written to the ICC requesting the matter be referred to the independent Dispute resolution Committee. The channel quoted sources as saying Bangladesh reiterated its unwillingness to travel to India at the same time as seeking an opportunity host country for its matches.

The ICC and the Bangladesh Cricket Board have not yet issued any official confirmation concerning the reported replacement.
