Leadership meets to strengthen coordination and reinforce peace in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and Balochistan
WEB DESK – Federal Minister for Interior Mohsin Naqvi on Saturday convened a high-level meeting with ministers from allied political parties to review the security situation and internal stability, with a focus on Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and Balochistan.
The session included Chaudhry Salik Hussain of PML-Q, Khalid Maqbool Siddiqui of MQM, and Khalid Magsi of the Balochistan Awami Party. Naqvi briefed attendees on ongoing law enforcement measures, counterterrorism operations, and steps taken to enhance coordination among security institutions.
During the meeting, ministers praised the armed forces for their tireless efforts in combating militancy and maintaining regional stability. They reaffirmed their steadfast support, promising to stand alongside security forces in the fight against terrorism.
Emphasizing collective responsibility, the ministers pledged to continue joint efforts to eradicate terrorism and ensure long-term peace across the country.
