Lorem Ipsum is simply dummy text of the printing and typesetting industry. Lorem Ipsum has been the industry’s standard dummy text ever since the 1500s, when an unknown printer took a galley of type and scrambled it to make a type specimen book. It has survived not only five centuries, but also the leap into electronic typesetting, remaining essentially unchanged.

It was popularised in the 1960s with the release of Letraset sheets containing Lorem Ipsum passages, and more recently with desktop publishing software like Aldus PageMaker including versions of Lorem Ipsum.

Kay Beauty, co-founded by Katrina Kaif and launched with Nykaa, reported approximately ₹350 crore in annual gross sales for FY2026, driven by strong consumer demand, product innovation, and rapid market expansion.

Bollywood actor Katrina Kaif has strengthened her position as a successful entrepreneur after her cosmetics brand, Kay Beauty, recorded approximately ₹350 crore in gross sales during the 2026 financial year, reflecting strong growth in India’s competitive beauty industry.

Launched in 2019 in partnership with beauty retailer Nykaa, Kay Beauty was created to offer high-quality makeup products tailored to Indian consumers. While the brand initially benefited from Katrina Kaif’s celebrity profile, its continued expansion has been attributed to product quality, affordability, and a customer-focused strategy.

According to the latest financial figures, Kay Beauty achieved a 46% year-on-year increase in gross sales, underscoring its growing popularity among consumers. Industry analysts say the brand has built customer loyalty by developing products suited to diverse Indian skin tones and varying climatic conditions.

Katrina Kaif has remained closely involved in the brand’s development, helping shape its product portfolio to meet the needs of a broad consumer base. The company has also expanded beyond India into international markets, including the United Kingdom and several countries across the Middle East, where demand for South Asian-focused beauty products continues to grow.
