Important diplomatic engagements are underway in Islamabad as regional leaders prepare for discussions focused on the ongoing conflict involving Iran. According to diplomatic sources, the foreign ministers of Saudi Arabia, Turkey, and Egypt are scheduled to hold a key meeting in Islamabad on March 30.
The Egyptian foreign minister is expected to arrive in Pakistan tonight, while the Saudi and Turkish counterparts will reach Islamabad tomorrow morning. The talks are part of ongoing consultations among four countries aimed at addressing the evolving situation related to Iran.
Sources indicate that Pakistan will also hold separate bilateral meetings with each visiting delegation. In addition the visiting foreign ministers are expected to meet among themselves to exchange views on regional developments. A formal dinner will also be hosted in their honor by Pakistan’s deputy prime minister.
According to Turkey’s foreign ministry, Hakan Fidan will visit Islamabad from March 29 to 30 to participate in the discussions. The meetings will focus on regional security, recent developments, and coordinated diplomatic efforts to promote stability.
